How to get around Nice airport

To link Nice city center to the airport, several options are available, offering great flexibility to visitors. Streetcars, buses, cabs, Uber or even free shuttles - everything is in place to make getting around easy. Once or twice a week, we can post a few recent photos with a text, for example.
Getting between Nice and the Airport
Public transport
Several transport options are available to link Nice airport to the city center.
· Tramway line 2: serves terminals 1 and 2 directly. The streetcar runs every day from 4.05 a.m. to 12.35 a.m., with a frequency of 8 to 10 minutes.
· Tramway line 3: connects the airport with the Saint-Isidore district and the Allianz Riviera stadium. The streetcar runs from 5.00 a.m. to 0.05 a.m., every 15 minutes, except during soccer matches.
· Tramway Line B: this line easily links Terminals 1 and 2, with a free shuttle bus making the connection in just 3 minutes.
· Free shuttles: A 100% electric shuttle bus links the terminals to the more distant parking lots (P4, P6, P8, P9).
· Bus no. 12 links Nice airport Terminal 1 to the city center, serving key points such as the Promenade des Anglais, Place Massena and Vieux-Nice. Timetable: 5.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
Connections:
At Grand Arénas station, tramway lines 2 and B connect with line 3 to reach the Saint-Isidore district or the Allianz Riviera stadium.
Private transport: taxi and VTC
In addition to public transport, you can opt for a private transport service such as a taxi or VTC (Uber, Welcome Pickups).
Official taxi are available from dedicated taxi ranks at arrivals: Terminal 1 (gate A1) and Terminal 2 (gate A3).
For greater peace of mind, we recommend that you book your cab in advance, as it is available 24/7. If you choose a VTC, you can book your journey directly via your mobile.
Expect to pay around €32 for a trip between the airport and Nice.

Transport fares in Nice
Nice offers a variety of fares to suit all needs. The standard ticket is €1.50 per journey, with a €10 option for 10 journeys. For greater flexibility, you can choose a 24h pass at €5 or a 7-day pass at €15.
A special airport fare is available at €10 return, with a free return. This AERO ticket can be purchased from vending machines at tramway stations (payment in coins or credit card).
For quick access to transport, tickets are also available via the Lignes d'Azur Tickets application (Android only) or at stations, notably at Grand Arénas (free connection), with a rechargeable €2 card (non-refundable deposit at the airport).
Tip : If you're staying in the city center, it's best to avoid coming by car. Traffic is heavy and parking spaces limited. Prefer alternatives such as streetcar, bus, cab or Uber.
